Paton Brothers Scaffolding was started over 20 years ago by James and thomas Paton. Both had worked as scaffolders in the West Cumbria area for some years prior to developing their own business. Originally a partnership the organisation became a Limited Company in 2003.
We provide a dedicated, efficient and price sensitive service to the commercial and domestic sector in Cumbria and further afield.
We provide innovative and safe scaffolding solutions for complex and unique construction projects. View some of the projects where we have had to apply this philosophy in the pictures to the right.
Our business is run from our freehold premises on Lillyhall Industrial Estate. Located next to the A595 Trunk Road this enables use to get quickly to our customers with our fleet of 7, 7.5 tonne vehicles, our 3.5 tonne vehicle and work vans.
We provide a Quality Assured service through our fully trained workforce of 20. We are CITB registered and all on site staff are trained to CSCS standards.
We pay particular attention to compliance with all health and safety requirements, provide method statements and risk assessments as required under CDM regulations.
We carry appropriate and relevant insurance for all our services. Currently our public liability cover is £5m and our employee cover is £10m.
We have adequate and necessary resources to deliver any project as required. Our current stock of tubes and related items has a current value of over £1m.
We provide 24 hour emergency cover, 365 days a year for vandalism, public concern and weather incidents. We act as sub contractors for all major regional and local building contractors and continue to serve the domestic market directly.
